CMNCP Co-Chair Christiane Sadler, Professor Irvin Waller (University of Ottawa), and Felix Munger (Managing Consultant of CMNCP) presented to the Federal/Provincial/Territorial Working Group on Crime Prevention on the work undertaken by CMNCP. The presentation focused on the compelling evidence that, by investing more in the services that address the causes of crime, crime can be prevented. They also highlighted the realities of municipalities and the different CMNCP activities funded by the Department of Public Safety. CMNCP also shared the request for increased funding for crime prevention.
